I am working a deal on buying a newer truck so the current truck needs to go.
It is a 2002 F350 Crew Cab XLT Dually with a Manual 6-Speed Tranny with a 7.3 Diesel. This was the last year of the 7.3. I purchased the truck new from Weslaco Ford. It is white with gray cloth interior. The truck has 140,000 miles. The clutch was replaced in March with a LUK Ceramic Disc Clutch. It is NOT 4 Wheel Drive. This has been a great truck and I am really torn getting rid of it. These 7.3s go for many more miles than this truck has. This would be a great tow vehicle for somebody. Wanting $15,000. Dealer is offering me more than that on trade. Many truck people are looking for the 7.3 since it was a motor that could go 300,000 miles with no work. And you can always make an offer....
Thanks for the comment. Tom |

QUOTE Dealer is offering me more than that on trade. If they really are, I'd take it. Great trucks, I have a 2000 that I got from a fellow member here about 5-6 years ago for exactly $15K. Mine's an auto, has about 150K miles now. I'll probably be buried in mine. Those engines are bulletproof. oh yes dealers are paying 7k over blue book on 12 year old dualies these days, that's how they make so much money.
actually 7k as the trade in value is a little less then 8K. SO A DEALER WANTS TO GIVE YOU 7 THOUSAND DOLLARS???? run to trade it run . |

^ LMAO. You have a way with words Ed.
I'd also grab that (highly) hypothetical trade. ![]() -------------------- https://www.facebook.com/video/embed?video_...601783596502856 "World's worst 911 GT2 driver"-Top Gear Magazine (http://www.topgear.co.za/videos/video-worl...911-gt2-driver/) "Arm on the sill?
