That car on ebay will either not reach reserve or be sold below value. Needs to be on rennlist or pelican or the "early 911" site. Those folks will appreciate it for what it is and bid a "fairer" value for it. More of a collector car. I would not take the oem 4 banger out. Yes good for a race car but value will plummet with different motor. My 02 worth.

well even with the 4 banger it would be fun to drive, for some reason though the 912 does not pull in the money the 911's do, wish I had some money to buy it, my kind of car

It would be a very nice restoration project, nice Sunday driver.
If I only had the garage space!

I put high reserve (which I thought was too high... I did check Panorama prices over several months) and reserve was met.

Sold to a guy in Colorado. He came down and drove the 912 back to Colorado.

Paid cash.
Now I am thinking of selling trailer and the Datsun.

As soon as I come up with price for each I will let foks in RGV know first.

Good for you Wayne, and that guy got a hell of a nice car.
Are you still driving the Boxster much? Come to the King's Inn event.
You should also do boxstoberfest:
