No Rallye - but rather a Judged (by participants) Car Show with cheap and tasteless trophies for:
- I can't believe you drove THAT to Riviera in August Award
- Driver/car most likely to pass everyone at a DE Award
- Most envied Porsche (Ferry Porsche) Award
- Most envied non-Porsche Award

More Good News, Flood Insurance

...a hurricane in the Gulf and Congress has decided that they're too busy to renew the FEMA Flood Insurance program (back in March, then in May, now in June). I guess they're too busy passing other legislation.

The more you read on this, the more you'll wonder what actually goes on in Washington.

Mobil1

Until May 1, PepBoys is offering 5 quarts of Mobil1 and a Mobil1 filter for $30. Limit 2/customer/visit. I ended up with 20 quarts of the Porsche/VW rated 0w-40 full synthetic and filters enough for the Focus and Sequoia for years.

It is a great deal if you like Mobil1...better if you have need of the premium filters (like for your tow vehicle).

I would expect the same deal in the Valley and CC.
