Getting me an enclosed trailer this week. Was set on a 24 footer but there are some great deals on 28 footers. Those of you with experience, any thoughts as to +/- on each.

Hauling is not an issue as just got me a 400hp/800tq haulmeister....

As is the case with breast implants: get the biggest you can afford.
Bigger = more fun.

My understanding is that 28 footers have the extra 4 feet at the rear. Is yours a 24 or 28??

Will be headed out to Dallas on Thursday right after lunchtime to largest race car trailer dealer in Southwest. Will pick up enclosed trailer Friday AM. WYD, let me know if you want to come along so you can check out your future trailer.

I went from a 20'er to a 28'. It was great all kinds of room for bench, compressor, radio, and tire rack. Still had plenty of room for my bike. I just wish I would have bought a goose neck instead of a bumper pull.

If one (me) were to spend the money for a hauler it would be like this (just one of many brands out there):

http://www.heartlandrvs.com/downloads/Cyclone8pg.pdf

scratch_one-s_head.gif Not sure why you'd want just a big hauler instead of a hauler-RV-no motel needed. scratch_one-s_head.gif

on_the_quiet2.gif Then I could sit in your A/C living area on the hot days. O'buddy! O'pal!. i-m_so_happy.gif

I decided on the 40 foot gooseneck as it can accomodate two cars and has built in cabinets, tire compartments, living quarters, workbench area, and entertainment system with pop up LCD, generator, A/C, and rooftop viewing deck. Will take off to Dallas tomorrow with my bro to check it out meng. New hauling tow has 400hp and 800 ft/lb of torque. Towing capacity is over 20,000 lbs. so hauling this beast should should be no problema. Should be back by Friday afternoon in case the 18th is still on.

Give me her number... let me see if I can help talk her into it. The only way I'm going to get another enclosed trailer is if I get one about the size of yours. I need to hide it below my fence line.

Good eye there Stanger,

Had to upgrade to the 2011 F250 6.7 with 390 hp and 735 torque. Did the module upgrade to 400 hp and 800 ft/lb torque. Trailer as optioned is about 5k lb with car takes it to 8k lbs. GVWR of trailer is 10k lb so that leaves 2k lbs to spare.
