Handdoc sorry you couldn’t make it to the track! We had a blast even in the30-40 degree weather.

It was a run to the wire to get to the race. We found out we had a issue on the dyno the weekend before the race the car seemed to hit a wall at 5k rpm’s we ran new ground cables & finally I broke down & ordered the MEFI burn software (600 bucks) to look at the ECU software. Many thanks to Bob at MEFI burn we were able to find a rev limiter that was set to low on Friday before we left to the track. We made a quick change in the software & left for Houston Friday at 2pm. A day late but at least we made the event.

The weekend went perfect my 1st time in the car was the 15 min practice Saturday morning. It took some getting used to. My shift points have all changes & I had to get used to manual brakes, having tons of torque doesn’t suck! By the end of Saturday my lap’s times were 3 secs better than the turbo motor. On Sunday that improved to 5 secs! After looking at data acquisition from my dash on Monday I found out I could have run a 1.42 had I put a perfect lap together. Now I have to work on the monkey!

We only opened the hood to check the fluids all weekend the car ran flawlessly! Many thanks to Jamie!

WOW! 1:42 is very respectable there! You'll be very hard to keep up with at Cameron. Congrats!!!

Once again that was a theoretical lap not an actual. My actual lap on Sunday was a 1.45.xx. There is a big difference between the two.

The data acquisition compares all your laps the software divides the track in sectors & takes all you best sectors & compares them to you best lap & then it gives you the theoretical.

My off track excursion 2.33 bent a left front wheel. I felt it in my lower back when I hit the curb.
